I'm looking to give my car a good once over. I bought it used and have yet to fo that since I bought it.

Is that the order in which you used those products? How did you come to the determination on what to use?
I don't know shit about detailing - educate me :big grin:
I have always been happy with meguiars and mothers, but never gone as far as the whole treatment you have there.........

phatmonkey, that's the order inwhich I used the products, and let me tell you, it took a good chunk of my day! And that's only the outside!!

EMT, I'm around Poughkeepsie. Which is 2hrs directly south of Albany and 2hrs diretly north of NYC, I'm smack in the middle! :bigthumb:

    thanks for the comments guys

Looks damn good-all the hard work paid off, eh?

Next time, you should be fine just using the #7 and #26. You shouldn't need to use #9 or #2 more than once a year if you keep your car waxed.

BTW, you may want to try either Pinnacle Souveran or P21S instead of #26 if you want to try a really high end wax. Both will look incredible on red:

I had about 5 coats of Souveran on it when I took the pic. An 8 oz container runs about $70 (sometimes it's on sale for $60), but you should be able to wax your car 40 times with it-even if you wax once a month, it will last 3 1/2 years!

If I had $70 to spend on wax, I would! I think I'll switch between #26 and #20! ;) #9 and #2 were the biggest pain in the ass, so it's a good think I only need them once a year.
