How much do the Kooks increase sound on the stock catback (without the cutouts open).

Can't decide on pacesetters ($$) or Kooks ($$$$) for my 04.

The sound increase is comparable to adding a cat-back to a stock GTO. IMHO Kooks are the only way to go, best quality and fit.

I've always disliked that about the front end. It came like that from the factory, other gto's are the same way.

It looks like you are leaking coolant from the bottom of the passenger side head. (look to the right of the catch can)

You can power brake all years, although the '05 and '06 have more intrusive torque management since they have throttle by wire.

You don't need to shift when you have that much power, that's why.
