A&P My gf got me a tamron cap for my canon L

    so much easier to put the caps on when you still have the lens hood on. especially for a hood as big as the one on the 70-200mmL

    its much more convenient not to have to take the hood off to put the cap on. its impossible to put the canon cap on with the hood on.

    I don't have the problem on my Sigma 70-200. Yeah it is a bit of a hassle, but certainly not impossible.

    ok yeah its not impossible but its easier to grab the center of the cap than the outter ring

    My tamron cap is pretty nice when I have the hood on.

    uv filter= no need for cap.. especially with hood

    the tamron rear caps are shit though, they never go on right

    i stack filters on top of each other. uv --> polarizer --> stripes --> blue --> green --> red.

    thats why my photos kick ass!:eek5:

    It's not impossible to put the canon lenscap on and off on a 70-200 2.8... I do it with mine all the time. even with no filters.

    I don't cut my nails really short and you have to poke it just right to get it off... i point it at the ground to take off and at the sky to put on...
