    Agreed. Most likely, he'll come to realize that it is pretty much non-functional.

    If he wanted an A3, then he should have gone without the carry handle altogether or substituted a traditional carry handle.

    The rails on top of the TCH ("tactical" carry handle) are nice, but, umm, what purpose do they serve? If you add an optic of any type, you can't use your iron sights and to make it worse, the sight doesn't co-witness with the FSP. That's a non-issue you say? Well, what happens when the optic goes out? You have to remove it to be able to see your sights... Anyway, whatever floats his boat...

    That's your standard RRA 6-pos telestock.

    it's a star-shaped selector, that's all. rather than a standard one. it's normal for an ar to have that, so long as it's an RRA or someother AR's to have that. you can buy one.
