    3 strobes

I wanted to use strobes on my friends NSX, but the midnight pearl color sucked in all the lights or something and it looked like crap

heres just a regular shot, and yes, i need a polarizer

The photos have fantastic composition IMO. #1 and #3 are best. #3 seems a bit blown out due to the sky and like you said lack of polarizer. What time of day did you take the pic?

    Overall, fantastic.

White one came out real nice.

Use a CPL with car shoots, will minimize the reflections.

    Good work

yea i was going to borrow one from my friend, but they are quite expensive, too bad my two most used lenses use different filter sizes

increases the blue saturation in the sky, reduces the glare on the windows (so you can see the interior), increases the saturation on the paint.

Buy a CPL that fits the larger diameter lens and get a set of step up/down rings and use those to mate it with the smaller lens. Ghetto I know but it'll save you some money until you can afford two.

yeah, but it depends on the size filter. 72 or 77mm will cost about $120-130 for a quality brand (ie B+W). I keep a CPL on my 70-200 2.8L IS about 90% of the time.

look into some kind of diffuser or something for your strobes. the fenders look really blown out on some of them. other than that, fix the hotspots and you're golden!

the nsx shot is monay tho :)

Which strobes are you using? I only have a 420ex and its a fully auto so I cant do any manual adjustments. I was thinking about picking up a couple of those cheap sunpaks

sorry, deleted in cam. only my yellow nsx, its a few posts down. the dark nsx was unable to reflect the strobes back i think, so it was still very dark

I use a 420EX as one of my strobes. You don't need manual adjustments to do this. Example
    [IMG]

I tried strobes with a black car and it still worked, but not that great. You just need to tweak the adjustments to work with ambient light on dark car. He had chrome wheels so that made it even worse.
