...Supra!!!!! I believe that it is now the 4th fastest Supra in the world! He just recently converted it from a 6spd to an Automatic.

That is his site. This is the same company that is putting the Skyline engine in the 350Z. His shop is about 2 miles from my place, so I will go and get some pics as soon as he gets back from the strip (they took the car up to Bristol this weekend I do believe).

If people remember the video that I posted about teh ATL Racing scene, that is the black Supra that is seen both sitting and doing some crazy fast highway pulls in the first song on the video.

Here are a few of his recent runs earlier this spring where he was granny shifting the 6spd (he had to take it easy because he didn't have a roll cage at the time). Check out the trap! The Auto-Tranny made a WORLD of difference.

Auto's are easier to launch that 6sp. But 6sp usually has faster MPH than autos.

im confused about the single turbo "upgrade" that i hear people doing all the time....how does going from a TT to a single T help?

I believe a single turbo provides a greater top speed than 2 smaller turbos.

Quicker Boost, the single turbo spools faster than a twin turbo.

Are you joking or being serious? Either way, the larger, single turbo typically flows more air and has better peak horsepower.

Stock twin turbos are small. A big single turbo will push more air.

:nono: not a large turbo. The larger u go the slower the spool generally.

what about a small turbo to spool fast, then a big turbo for top speed

Umm no a bigger turbo takes longer to spool up. Its for top end. If youre looking for lower end speed and power (ie: auto-x) 2 smaller turbos are going to be the better option

Doesn't work like that. However, you are 'sorta' catching on to the 'sequential' setup that the SupraTT has, stock.

That is subjective. Id prefer to drag race. But Im not going to build a car that handles like a lifted ford truck.

Those are ALOT different than your average manual in a streetable drag racing car.
