    a [hi point .45]

:mamoru: In his defense, the gun does feel solid. Although, I did tell him that it is ugly as sin and I would not trust my life to it.

I must admit, I honestly have thought about buying one just to range shoot with. Its only $185 :o

Eh, I hear that the biggest problem with the hipoints is their high sensitivity to limp-wristing (and whatever problems are associated with blowback actions on 9mm/.40S&W/.45ACP) ... otherwise, they're allegedly pretty solid.

He tried to say his gun was more reliable and talked about how another friend sold his S&W for a hipoint............................... take a guess at what S&W was giving his buddy troubles

I know a couple people with hipoints and have had no issues with them. They keep them for 'evidence' guns. My friend also has a 9mm hipoint carbine rifle, its awesome to shoot and very accurate.

I just hope it works for him. There are just some things in life where one shouldn't put price point first.
