Not worth $17,000. More like $9,000, he ruined the value by putting a new engine in.

An R/T without its original engine?

We're talking a decrease in horsepower by about 40%. Ridiculous.

Please explain to me why an R/T with 290 bhp is worth 17k.

Perhaps I should have said, "Without AN original R/T engine."

    So that's why.

The original Charger R/T had a bhp rating of ~500.
