... and her period just ended last week.

She says she does not need "Plan B" (http://www.go2planb.com/plan-b-morning-after.aspx) because she's on birth control. Is this true?

Would Plan B help or make things worse if she were already on birth control? How can I convince her to take Plan B? She is worried about getting sick. I am worried about 18 years of childcare.

Any knowledgeable people out there? :(

These are the condoms I used

Maybe if you're that wigged out, you shouldn't be having sex :hsugh:

If she takes her pills correctly, then she'll be fine. Educate yourself.

you know, there's a reason people go on birth control. it works. the condom is added protection but the pill alone should be effective in preventing pregnancy.

She does not need to take plan B if she's already on regular birth control pills.

The fact that she's not your girlfriend, the condom broke, you came in side of her and she says "Nah, no Plan B for me!" is what worries me.

You better believe even though I take my BC regularly if I fucked some random guy I'd be getting Plan B the very next morning.

Sounds like someone wants a baby!!!!!!!!

exactly. i take my pill correctly, and there is no way in hell i would ever take the plan b. that shit is scary. if it was needed, fine, but if shes on the pill and taking it correctly, then you cant blame her for not wanting to be sick for 3 days. not to mention...i dont think you can take plan b if you are already on the pill

What everyone said about not needing Plan B when on BC is correct, but my first reaction was this as well. The pill is only as reliable as the person taking it.

Meh, if she's his "friend" which he said she was - that's a judgement call on his part. If it was a total random, then yeah I'd be like "ughhhhhh, :ugh2:" to that reaction as well. But if he knows her well enough... does he think she's reliable with her BC? How well do you know this girl? Is she the type to baby-trap? Depending on the level of their friendship [I understand the word "friend" can be used fairly lightly...] could very well just mean that she doesn't wanna go through the hell of all the sickness PlanB can bring ESPECIALLY if you're already on hormonal BC if she knows she's taking her BC properly. Since he said "friend" I didn't assume the worst-case-scenario.

    My 2 cents :dunno:

then why bother with birth control at all? you're treating condoms as if they're the only effective form.

i understand what you're saying... personally, i'm a condom girl. i haven't been on BC in ages. i'm not in a steady relationship, so i feel no need to be on BC.

personally, i'd still go with the added protection, but you're right, it depends on how the girl is with taking her meds.

Well yeah, if you aren't on BC and the condom breaks, then you should absolutely take PlanB and if she didn't want to... then you'd have a red flag.

But that isn't the case of the TS. Adding a condom as a secondary precaution to someone taking hormonal BC [CORRECTLY, that is] literally makes no stastical difference in prevention of pregnancy. If he's worried about STD's and that's why he used a condom, well, that sucks. If he was worried about using a condom for prevention of pregnancy and she's using her BC properly... PlanB is a moot point...
