these pictures were taken in my room with my blinds shut. a lot of light is still being let in b/c the blinds are white and the window is about 6' long. i am about 10 foot from the wall and the camera would not focus so i had to focus on the lamp

its pretty bright to light up my room when its daylight. its a good deal for the price when you look at its competitors such as the inova x03 (3w ~80 lumens), very solid build too. me likey

out of curiosity i'd like to see the inova x03 in person to compare it. i can get one from sharperimage.com for $44 shipped (after discount codes, shipping discount and $20 gift card)

Looks pretty nice, especially once you factor in the price.

I was looking at getting a surefire g2 but this thing looks better. 15 lumens brighter and the batteries last four times as long.

One thing to remember is what you're using it for. I've found that incan's really do penetrate fog much better than LED's.

I think I'd primarily use mine as a bedside light in case I have to pull my gun at night.

Finally, a decent, small flashlight with just an on/off in the tailcap.. I've held off on buying anything else because everything I look at has a momentary back there, and then you have to twist or do this or that to get it to stay on..

Screw that, I want to be able to flip it out, press the button, and go.

    full metal construction
very bright led (same one that is used in the high dollar lights)
    quality internals

its just got a lower price b/c its not name brand. it feels a lot thicker and more study metal than my maglight. i turned it on last night with my room completely dark and it was brighter than i thought. i'm pleased with it
