Well, I dont know if it should be considered a shoot, as i was a groomsman and I was taking pix when I had the chance to, but it was a learning experience for me. My uncle was the 'official' photographer for the wedding and he was constantly giving me tips and pointers when i was following him around.

    Feedback?

Indoor shots have a lot of orange. Pictures with two people standing next to each other but one was slight in front of the other always have one person slightly out of focus due to shallow DOF.

Most pictures where there is only one main subject they are in right in center of the picture, this is not attractive. Read up on rule of thirds.

yep, I tried to correct the white balance on them, but the colors got horrible. As for that girl, I think it was taken with my 50mm 1.8 :mamoru:. That girl was a bitch. She kept trying to bite me for some odd reason. And yeah, I realize the rule of 3rds, but its pretty difficult to do when there is alot of backgound distracion.

I wasnt really going for composition shots, I was trying to figure out lighting and the settings on my camera. It was pretty hard to keep up with the changing light. The cake was a bitch to shoot because it was right in front of a huge wide open window.

Its still a learning exp. for me. Ive only had the camera for a few months, thank god I wasnt shooting this wedding for money :noes:

I like them. You did exceptionally well, especially for someone still learning their camera, etc. :)

    Good start.

Two words though: "White Balance" learn it. use it.
As someone had pointed out, skin tones are way off.

Already been said, but I'll put emphasis on it again: white balance.

I like some of the shots there... good job... this is something ive wanted to try, but havent had any freinds or relatives yet getting married to give it a whirl...

I learn alot from my mistakes and critiques from people on sites like this.

Good job, and if you learned something -- it was a sucsesful shoot.

BTW... what lens did you use? and what is your gear?
