Just picked this up yesterday, 1996 Ford F150 XLT. I got her for $1200, blue book is $4600. I'm not really a Ford guy but this was a great deal and it was my dad's friend's truck. I'm taking off the running boards and the cap soon. I need to get a new headunit and amp, the stock speakers are good right now but I'll upgrade later and I already have a sub. My dad and I are going to bondo and paint all the rust spots eventually. Its a pretty clean truck, the previous owner washed and waxed it every week. I really want to get a Line-X / Rhino liner as soon as I take the cap off.

Hotness. A guy I knew had a Bronco same year (same design mostly) and I loved that thing. We both mourned the day it got totaled.

Took off the running boards and the cap, makes it look higher up. Now it doesn't seem like a grandpa is driving it.

I got it from my dad's friend, he needed to get ride of it because he was buying a Tahoe.

When I was going to the party store this morning I saw a truck exactly like mine, but it was a 1995, 302 engine, 179,000 miles, but just a little less rust around the wheel wells, it was priced at 3,950. I can't believe I got such a great deal, lol.

I have yet to find out.

I dunno, I thought the running boards were fine.

Now you just gotta fix the rust.

Which is to say, it uses a secondary clutch to engage the front wheels. I like that better than the manual hubs. No sense driving the front axle all the time if the wheels aren't getting any power from it.
