So I went with a friend to Thunder Hill and attended Keigwins beginner race school. It went great. Got my knee down in the first session and improved really quickly through out the two days. I'm definatly hooked now. Not too shabby for my first time at a track My form still needs some work. Head needs to be in more, less lean angle on the bike. Passing an R1 on the outside of turn 2 with my knee down. This was from day one I have decided that I am selling the RC and I am buying a 600 track/race bike. Modifying the RC would cost too much for me right now and its definatly getting outdated. The bike did handle really well for being stock (after being set up by the suspension guy on track). It was a great feeling to see what that bike can really do. My pilot powers also held up really well. They are the regular street ones, a 180 in the rear. I was never lacking grip even at 120mph around turn 7. I definatly suggest them as a street/track tire, or just a street tire. For times I was able to pull in around 2:15's my last couple laps.
