had an awesome time and met alot of cool people. came back with a trophy for third place!...but only cause there were 3 people in my group lol. i actually pulled the same weight as the 2nd placer but got bumped down cause of weight. i'm a fatty!

many thanks to all those on OT:FN who are bigger and stronger than me...gave me good info, goals, and now my first meet experience.

    now...onto a full meet...and gear hahahaha

Nice work! 501 at 181 is pretty damn good. Don't expect too much out of deadlift suits though. Most people get 10-20lbs on average from their suit from what I've seen. Keep in touch with the pl'ers you've met cause I promise you will run into them again... and again... and again.

thanks man. yea i felt a little out of place...i was the only person lifting without gear...and one of the few who lifted conventional.

and i also met a couple guys who train near where i live so i'll definitely see them again before i head back to school. one of em shook my hand at the end of the vid...really nice guy.

ah...sucks man. if you can you should try to make it out there. alot of bodybuilders and powerlifters there...and also normal folk. the owner was a bodybuilder and a lady that works there is trying to get her pro bodybuilding card. she's a monster.

lol yea the atmosphere was great. i gotta put up another video of the meet...it was Jerry Capello setting a new world record in the submasters (50yrs old) by pulling 806 and change. everyone was on their feet...it was amazing.
