Just got home from a fairly short wedding. Only 5 hrs. No getting ready shots, no dress shots, etc. We launched right into the formals, then the ceremony began. I barely had time to scoot from the formal setup to the wedding setup. The wedding lasted maybe 10 minutes at the most.

Anyway, this was a totally different, mind altering experience for me since nothing was familiar.

I've only just begun my selection process so I quickly grabbed a few shots that I like. Enjoy!!

I've always thought Indian weddings had some of the most beautiful colorful attire. Beats black/white formal wedding attire if you ask me.

Great photos! I love the details in the body art. They spend a bazillion hours on that....

    This one rocks!

Peanut gallery: I wonder how it would look to crop a little tighter on top to get rid of the half smile/one lip. I know you probably left it in on purpose, but it might work better to just be a study of the hands/clothing/etc since seeing only the bottom lip is a little distracting (to me) :dunno:

Shoot through umbrellas on the outside shots?

Good idea on the crop. I think you're right, it would look better.

I used my big softbox for this series. I had it set up to shoot the formals and we didn't have time to move so I just went with it.
