my first detail

    Detailed my I35 yesterday but it was pissing rain.. so i couldnt take pictures when I got done. Today the wind was blowing like crazy and as soon as I pulled the car out of garage it got covered in some sort of fuzzy shit. Anyhoo, here is what I did.

    wash
    clay
    optimum compound on yellow ccs pad
    optimum polish on white ccs pad
    nxt 2.0 on black ccs pad

    I got all the swirls out as well as most of the lighter scratches. I think If I had used an orbital I might have been able to get all the scratches out. However I am pleased with the results.. since this is the first time ive used a PC as well as the first time doing anything other than washing/waxing.

    i havent used my yellow CC pad with optimum compound on my car yet, im to scured, maybe next time. looks great
