I'm new to the whole "motor-cycle" thing so I was wondering where I could get a cheap used motorcycle. Any suggestions?

  7. Don't kill the kid here.

I will tell you if you haven't taken the motorcycle safety course, take it. If you have get whatever bike you want and stay with it. Don't get something small and move up, you won't be happy with it, I know I wasn't. I started with an '03 GSXR 750 and I loved the bike. Now I'm looking for an '07 1k.

I started out on a 400cc Bandit back in 2000 and am still pretty happy with the bike.:dunno:

  9. I have an immense need for speed, so assuming he's coming from the same place as I am. That's where my suggestion came from.

If not he can always get one of those honda nighthawks or shadow hawks or something of that nature.

theres no way you are riding to the limits of that bike. unless i completly have you wrong. you must be doing trackdays every other day of the week. remember its not so much the bike, its the rider.

  13. I used to take my 750 to tracks, I enjoyed my bike a lot. Too bad it's long gone.

    I agree with you 150%

Sorry, Just got back from a trip (thread soon) - I've got a 94' Kawasaki EX500 that I'm selling. It had 7400ish miles before this weekend, now its got 8,650ish. Guess thats what a 1250 miles weekend will do to it. It's reliable as a clock and I wouldn't hesitate to ride it anywhere. If you want more details or pics, just let me know. Im in ATL.
