What a fun vehicle... I got it from a used car lot for $4600 + my tradein, which was worth $2800 to them. Anyway, all in all, the owner before me took excellent care of it. Its got brand new tires and 83k miles. Its been raining all day so I wanted to take it 4 wheeling a little... now I know why I've been told to lift it and get bigger tires! Its all good for now though...

Any ways I can get better gas mileage though? Cold air intake? Tornado fuel saver ( :ugh: ), i dunno... shoot me some suggestions!

What are you getting for mileage?

I get 15/19 with the I6 on my 98. :wtc: That is with 30's and my lead foot.

Welcome to the darkside of the world of trucks. Unfortunately it is one of the minuses of driving one.

Well, it's a Jeep 4x4. Fuel consumption isn't going to be terrific.

My SJ averages a HUMMERlike 11MPG.

Get a 4" Teraflex lift with 32" tires.
