Official Amateur record fight this weekend.
I'm freaking out. Halp?
1. It's cool.
2. Muay Thai, TKD, BJJ.
3. 150lbs, Santa Barbara, some boxing/wrestling guy. Almost every day for the last month.
I'm just trying to get this tension out. I always freak out right before I go in. Grrar.
Thanks. I just want to make everyone who supported me proud. I want to win. And the dude's got about 6 fights on me too.
I hope I do well.
two things to remember Gogoplata and hammerfists.
I'll post video after this weekend win or lose.
my best advice is when coming up to a fight do other stuff to keep your mind off it to save some of that nervous energy youll waste.
Wear ballet tights.
give him your # before the fight.
Blow him a kiss during the stare down.
check his oil whenever possible.
if given the option hump him
He's doing an MMA fight not a jiu jitsu competition.
I'll do the cowboy when I'm in mount.
Just remain calm, cool out before the fight, being nervous will suck more gas than the actual fight. Just be chill.
let your hands go, be wary of the shot, stuff em and hit em. If you gotta go Koscheck to his Diego do it. Fuck him. Pull the W, but most importantly have fun.
my friend fights @ the armory in FL. he was nervous before the fight but he actually did really fucking good
regardless if you win or lose, come back here so we can goof on you.
but anyway, good luck.
When the bell rings throw a flying guillotine.
Seriously though I wish you the best of luck. Let us know how it goes.
just tighten up your gonna be nervous your first time around till the action starts once you work that out you will be fine
I've fought a few smokers, but this one goes on the record.
so whats the gameplan?
I know he's a brawler, Tito Ortiz wannabe so he'll come rushing in head first for the takedown. I have a sick flying knee and a great flying guillotine. But I imagine, I'll keep him at bay with kicks. I fought him in a smoker's match and he was terrified of my kicks and wouldn't come in after I smashed him with a few. But he won by decision.
I'm hoping for victory now that I know how he fights. Though he could be ready for this, and I should just for for the takedown myself.
