    goddamn am i sore

won a unanimous decision and they also gave me us the fight of the night award

first round starting off with him getting good shots in so i went for the takedown, left my head to the side like an idiot and got caught in a guillotine. i was thinking i better get out, or pass out for being stupid. he held it for a good while and i got out. stayed in his guard a bit and punished his ribs and hit him in the head couple of time. got stood up and we traded punches.

2nd round i think i got angry threw my gameplan out the window, didnt go for the takedowns and had a wanderlei silva moment. we slugged out hardcore, i was getting the best of the exchanges rocking him several times, but for the life of me he would not get knocked out :o

3rd round was same, crazy slugfest with me getting better of the exchanges. i rocked him again and thought he was gonna go to sleep, but the dude kept recovering.

i noticed that whenever he kept throwing leg kicks i was pretty good about catching it and throwing my right, that helped a lot, but my left leg is sore as fuck today haha. oh yea, highlight of the fight, i got clinch threw a knee to his body, then went for a shogun esque jumping knee, and accidentally kneed his head (no knees to head in amateur bouts :hs:)

all in all it was a good experience, i learned that i need to work on my takedowns, guard passes, and i still keep my hands low. my cardio was on point, didnt get tired at all, and didnt even sit down during my breaks.

cool part was, i had nissen osternick and charuto verissimo in my corner
im pretty sure i gave all my coaches a heart attack with my idiotic fight hehehe

Round 2 and 3 sound like a bad dream where you are swinging and the guy just stands there. Congrats on the win sounds like an awesome fight.

Hope the fight of the night award was a 45 year old depressed cougar hopped up on cosmos.

thanks guys, yea it was really weird. i was so pissed grant lost, i dont know what the judges were thinking. i havent talked to my muay thai coach yet, i didnt want to bother him, cuz i know he was pissed. that guy went after the heel hook after the bell and cranked it. that was ridiculous giving him the win.
