I park in a structure at work, and I know my fender was just fine earlier this week. It's the only lot I've parked in besides my apartment's all week. That fender faces a pillar in the structure here at my apartment so I know it happened at work. Either someone hit it or I'm an idiot and whacked a pillar. I don't recall hitting anything though.

It doesn't feel deep into the paint. I know it will not go away entirely, but if there's any chance of getting the yellow out and I can use my touch up paint to try and make it look a little less obvious I'd be happy.

What can I use on that? Thanks guys.

That probably needs no paint at all.

Wipe off with thinner. Wetsand 2000 grit. Buff out w/ wool pad and compound. Remove swirls.

Pull over at a detail shop and give them $20 and 10 minutes.

    :ugh:

pick up some meg's maroon cleaner wax and an applicator and go to town for about an hour. should lighten alot of that up. if need be, you could get a polish of some sort.

or, yeah, just swing by a detail shop and have them hit it.

You can probably hand polish that out in a few minutes with a polish like Meguiars #2 Fine Cut.

You could also try claying that off, as it looks like its only a paint transfer.

still some minor marring, but a good machine polish would knock that out.

    turned out great though!
