So when you swap that in, all the gauges and everything still work correct?

even more important...will the fkn A/C still work...if so...IN AS MY NEXT CAR!

That's the benefit of not having to finance cars. You can build what you actually want instead of having to settle what some douchebag car companies decide to put on the market. I swear I hate every car that is on the market now for one reason or another. I love the GTO but it is such a pig.

I imagine you'd need to get some custom lines fabbed up and installed by a good a/c shop to have it working, but it seems like it wouldn't be impossible.

I paid the extra to have every thing work. All the gauges work, it has A/C, and P/S. I will be selling this car soon as i found out last weekend I'll be deploying to Iraq for 18 month in a little over 3 months from now. No point in letting the car sit! I have all the reciepts for the car (over 33K) and all the gas reciepts, lol

eek, how much did you spend on the parts themselfs? I'm guessing you didn't do your own work? I am really thinking about hte LS1 in a FD for my next project if I can't figure out howto get a 4g63 in one.

What, 500+ rwhp naturally aspirated in a 2700 pound car not enough for you?

Nope, I'd keep the rotary in their if I only wanted 500 whp. Or just put my DSM on a diet and keep it. :o

Oh, that sounds like a good idea, since the stock engine doesn't like to break enough as it is.

Not to mention driveability would be poo.

Already built a rotary powered rx7 that made 488whp on a Mustang dyno, drivability was great, pulled to 175 quickly, but it wasn't anything THAT fast. I'd love to build one with maybe 650-700whp. :) (http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i83/eclipsed830/BILLYS rx7/?start=24)

I saw your thread on Supraforums, thats a hell of a potent combination. Just needs an R1 lip :)
As much as my tastes lean more towards the various turbocharged inline 6's made by Toyota and Nissan, if/when I ever get an FD it will definetly get an LSx swap, despite what all the crazy rotorheads have been able to do on those engines.
