    the food network :eek3:

is this normal or am i some kind of self-loathing masochist ? I never watch it otherwise, but for some reason i can't get enough of these food shows during a cut. last night i watched a show on BBQ around the USA, the history of the hotdog, and $40 a day. can't wait to see what's on tonight :run:

In one of my psychology class, they talked about an experiment they did in the 50s in which they put soldiers into many types of situations. One of them was a low-cal diet (I think around 1000-1500 cals). The soldiers suddenly began to collect recipes, talk about them and read girly magazines about recipes

Fuck that fat cheap bitch. Her recipes are shit, she's a shitty person, and her lack of culinary talent is more than obvious. She's never worked in the culinary industry, and it shows.

They need a show on there to specialize in cooking lean food for people like us. I only have like 15 recipes or so for shit thats nice and lean, thats easy to cook, and cheap.

btw, top chef on bravo ftw!

she's not that good either. They need some more advanced shit on that network, I'm tired of seeing people cook mashed up crap food.

it's a known fact she is the least "chef"-fy out of all of them. Hell she got her start as a news broadcaster

Not to defend her or anything because I do think she is just like any regular home-maker type cook but her main show, 30-min meals, doesn't really require much culinary skill anyway.

It would be nice to see her cook something other than slop with colorfull bell peppers. She sucks, and has no fucking talent. I don't understand why everyone gets all excited about some trash bowl idea. What a dumb bitch.

    over there, no here
she never claimed to be a chef.
its fairly obvious that there is a distinct difference b/t those providing daily recipes (giada, rachel, fat southern lady) and those whom were trained (iron chef peeps, emeril, etc).

shows like hers to to help ppl come up with ideas to cook. its a regular ppl show. if i had a stay at home wife, i rather her watch that than talk shows.
