time to pass it off to a mexican :dunno:

oh well, was planning on purchasing a 12v cummins 2500 next month. looks like it might come early.

first thing ill be doing is have the transmission replaced with a built tranny or beef up the stock one.

and it took a shit on me today, as i was driving to college.

im now stuck in a 1999 suburban with a 8.1 v8 hello shitty gas mileage.

taking it to the transmission shop this week and seeing what can be done.

on second thought it might be a vacuum leak or torque converter. hopefully.

That's why when I got my diesel Ram I opted for the manual, I test drove a '06 Ram diesel auto with 35k on the odo and it had a noticeable jerking and roughness to the shifts, I bet that truck will not make it to 50k before the trans goes. I have a few various Dodge vehicles and its amazing how terrible they still are at building transmissions.

My tranny in my 05 2500 CTD is fine..... and the one in my 07 charger SRT8 is fine.... I dunno. I believe I have a tranny warranty so if I feel any problems I'll just take it in.... otherwise I'll buy a full billet bitch which I need to do if I wanna make my power goals.

dear god ... do you know anything about vehicles?? transmission troubles and fuel problems are way opposites .... extremely difficult to confuse unless you are moderately retarded.

do you wear a helmet around the house?? be honest.

no, when the truck started acting like it did before i had to replace a solenoid and have the transmission serviced i made the educated guess that the transmission might be acting up again.

and yet after reading up on it, as much as some people think its the transmission, it was also a symptom of bad gas/fuel system.

definitely 46re FTL, i bought my ram with a rebuilt trans figured it would be ok right. Wrong, the dipshit didn't rebuild the OD unit. :wtc: Typically rebuild around here is 1500. :hs:

Not to be a dick, but if the old one took a shit - why go buy another one? Wouldn't that prompt you to consider other trucks?
