    256k is pretty bad but 128,000 is somewhat usable I'd say.

    Especially if they are sized down a bit or turned B&W.

    f/3.2 ISO 128,000

    Now I'm just debating whether to sell the D300 or D50, or both?

    Keep the D300 as backup, sell the D50. It'll come in handy at those football and basketball games!

    I brought the D300 today and didn't touch it :dunno:

    Football I could definitely use it, but do I really shoot enough games to warrant having it? ehhhh... I'd rather put it towards new lenses/ lighting.

    :noes:

    I still need to get some more FX glass though. Right now I only have the 80-200 f/2.8 and 50 f/2.8.

    I still want the 14-24 and 24-70 or 28-70. :run:

    //edit:

    I just figured it out and I'd be spending over $5,600 on the following:
    D700
    MB-D10 grip
    14-24mm f/2.8
    24-70mm f/2.8
    8 gig CF card

    looks like i might be waiting a while :rofl:

    the 14-24 is pretty sweet, but you could probably survive on just the 24-70 for a while, since 24 on full frame is pretty wide.

    8gb CF cards are getting pretty cheap now a days.
