A&P My D300 rolled over 10k snaps. :mad:

    and the counter rest :wtc: I couldnt see how to make the counter larger than 4 digits. :(

    Now my pix have started over in numbering.

    Holy crap, so once you've taken ten times the photos you've already taken with it..

    you'll have to choose between 10 pics each time :dunno:

    Why are you even leaving them with the camera designated file name. You should be giving them some kind of unique naming sequence based on the shoot or when you're shooting or something like that. Will make things much easier if you ever need to find a photo again from the folders and filenames.

    What would happen if you were using two or three bodies, you'd have all the same file names. What happens when you buy a new camera, all the file names will be the same as what you already have.

    Figure out a good naming scheme and stick with it and then it doesnt matter what name the camera puts on it.
