I remember being able to do a videoconference through my d-link vp-1000 with my friend's macbook. Now I want to do the same thing with a friend's PC, he just bought a webcam. How do I go about this? Does he need to download a special program to be able to do a videoconference with me?

Dlink DVC1000 or Sorenson VP-100?? Which one are you using it. I could help you with this as I had my HOVRS software with webcam work well with Sorenson VP100.
