So i'm looking at this shirt and a sales rep. comes up to me and says "is there anything I can help you with". I say, "nah i'm just looking but thanks anyway." His a bit femmy in the way he speaks. He then asks me questions like where I am from and what not. He then tells me that I should model.

After a few min of conversation I say that he's a very kind man for his nice words. We shake hands and reminds me again to call him up if I need anything.

Is this normal protocol of a neiman marcus sales rep?

Very very true here. I use to work in fasion sales and have found out that if you complement your current client, nine times outta ten they bite and you make the sale. If you are mentioned to model, then walk away fast. If not, you'll be screwed in more ways than one.

yes telling me I'm hot and I should model is really going to get me to buy more clothes or even items I never planned on buying.

I wonder what their super-expensive fabulous item is gonna be in the xmas catalog this year? I heard that every year they offer one really out-there, on-of-a-kind spectacular thing in the catalog for a ridiculous price. A few years ago it was an ancient Egyptian sarcophagus. NM forgot to check to see if it was empty before selling it. The buyer was this Egyptian museum by my old place. When they received it and opened it, the thing had a fricken mummy inside. :noes:
