What can I do to make it play MPEG-4 files?
download Gspot from http://www.headbands.com/gspot/download.html and it will tell you what audio/video codecs the file uses, whether you have them, and whether the file is corrupted or not
It also depends on which of the different MPEG-4 codecs
There is the Divx line, the WMV stuff and then there is QuickTime's.
A little more detail which MPEG-4 you're talking about would help.
