I was browsing on my desktop PC yesterday and my computer suddenly shut off. So I try and start it back up and everything appears to be fine except that I can't get an image on the monitor. I know the monitor isn't the problem because I tried hooking up another one and I got the same problem. The video card seemed to be working fine when I opened the case so I don't think that's an issue.

I'm thinking my motherboard just fried on me or something. Does this sound like a motherboard issue? Any way to tell for sure before I go buy another mobo?

    This is a tricky one.
It certainly could be the video card.
There is the obvious solution of dropping a spare video card into the slot and seeing if you get a signal.

Do you get any signal at all? Do you get the bios screen at the very beginning?

No, no image at all. And I haven't installed any drivers recently. I suppose dropping a spare video card in couldn't hurt.
