    Sound: Here

Ok it's sorta hard to see the belt but you get a good shot of it in picture three.

I just got my tune-up finished ( going on a road trip ) It's always whined and the mechanic said it was no biggie. Well he replaced the timing belt this time ( I though that was gonna fix it ) And now it's noisier than ever. The sound is attached as well in .m4a ( Requires iTunes ) format.

Help me out OT I'm really stupid when it comes to cars. This is a 1997 Ford Escort, 101,383 miles.

What I would do is get a belt grease(found at like Napa, ect) or for the cheap way just a bar of soap and run it over the belt. See if that does anything.

I was thinking this was going to be like my house mates new straight cut gearbox, there goes the sleeper factor. Either that or a supercharger.
