    im 19... work out on a regular basis, sometimes 3 times a week... no matter how many lunges i do, it won't get nicer, toner, etc.

    any help??

    Looks pretty good to me ;) What exactly do you want to change about it (lose fat/gain muscle)? Are lunges the only exercise you're doing for your glutes? How much weight do you use and how many repetitions do you do?

    actually i abhor working out teh ass.

    i usually only do cardio and some ab/leg workouts. i do lunges a LOT though, and i usually do 30 or so.

    deep squats hit my ass probably more than anything else... what is the step on your lunge like? the further you step, the more it will target the ass

    actually... im quite a n00b when it comes to ass exercises in general. i do them without weights or steps.

    You need to lift more. There is no such thing as tone- only muscle and bodyfat percent. Lifting weights will NOT make you get big, IF you keep your diet in check.

    Squats and stiff-legged deadlifts are my standard leg/butt exercises..they work, trust me. You also need to put on muscle all over your body to balance everything out and to get your metabolism going..muscle burns more calories than fat.

    Read the stickies, do some googling. Good luck!

    :hsd: i have such difficulty with these threads... I WISH my ass was that lean.

    keeping my mouth shut, i have found that with hip problems, traditional means of working my glutes aren't available to me. I've found that setting the elliptical right and using it right, will make your ass will burn and will (and has for me)firm up through time.

    Weighted lunges, and cable kickbacks will have you firmer then the guys viewing this thread in no time.

    I agree however, that there doesn't seem to be a problem with your butt as is.

    I think its kind of hot, actually. Its better than them complaining about it and not doing anything to help.

    Its probably a good sign she wont be saggy and fat when she's older. We have enough of those as it is.
