My brother just picked up a new car today.
Not sure what exactly he was thinking.

    Its an Autech Stagea 260RS.
Complete r33 gtr running gear in a nissan stagea wagon body from the factory. This an original fitment, not some aftermarket hack job. Also has good gear like brembo brakes, bbs wheels and momo steering wheel.

Its pretty stock for now, but i don't think it will stay that way for too long.
Still has the attessa awd and rb26dett making the same power as the r33 gtr. 5 speed manual.

He wanted a r33 gtr but his wife didn't agree on the lack of practicality, this was the compromise.

Its going to replacing his other red-headed stepson of a nissan, the gti-r pulsar. SR20det and AWD.

he was thinking a 600+HP AWD wagon would still be a good compromise.

    Stagea 260RS FTW.

Im sure theres kids on the way or something i dont know about.

Still can't see the logic over an r33 gtr though. Although I gotta admit driving an r33 is pretty shit, i see a lot of them on a regular basis and you are too worried about parking anywhere due to the dickheads out there willing to do something to your car.

most of the major insurers wouldn't touch me... and i'm 20. It was 2000+ from memory.

I would have gotten a skyline, but im too tall for them, and the wagons have a much more spacious interior.

I'm happy with the commodore anyway :o

Personally, I'd rather drive the GTi-R, but that RB wagon is nasty. The front bumper is nasty, but in a negative way

    is he gonna mod

Gti-R is a fast version of a really cheap car. I think its best is a 12.8 over the 1/4 and its fairly stock! Its quick but it feels like a bucket of shit to drive!

First thing to get rid of is those lights in the front bumper.

I think he will mod, probably to about the limit of the stock turbos, i.e. exhaust, intercooler, fuel pump, ecu mods (his 'specialty') and more boost.

well it's not stock, obv, but how hard would it be to get 600 from it?

well considering they make under half that stock, it wouldn't be cheap

We all know RB26's and 2JZ's can make that type of power, but its not exactly with just a few bolt on's.
