Nikon D50 w/50mm 1.8. Only other lens I have is the kit lens so I couldn't get anywhere near as close as I had wanted. It's not much, but my boss liked them so I thought I would share.

I bet he does like them.

If you want them to look even better most of them could use a brightness increase and turning down the contrast will help even out the light from the low sun making things so contrasy. Not much you could have done about it at the time you were shooting though, but easy to adjust later.

Great shots of the little guys having fun though. Its making me excited for when my baby girl gets to that age and the things I'll get to watch her do.

I guess I shoulda added is the only bit of pp I did was use the Antique filter in iPhoto because I liked the look. My Mac is relatively new so I don't have any good photo software on it yet so that's all I have to work with. I think that took away from the brightness a bit, but I see where you're coming from. Thanks for the advice/comments!

That explains why it looks like the suns still 2-3 hours before setting yet you have a very golden light

This summer was my son's first year of Little League. I even had my D80 when I was coaching 1B!

I would have not used the filter if I had a longer lens. I shot at the highest resolution and most of the shots are heavy crops where the images aren't very sharp at 100%. The filter helped hide that a little. Would have liked to get some LR or PS work, but unfortunately I don't have much to work with. :hs:

I think number 11 is a very nice image. I think you should take that back to the original, add some brightness, add some sharpness not a lot tho. Give it a nice rule of thirds crop and print him one. The light is way to golden looking looks like A League of Their Own

Good shots, the warmness of it is a bit much but it's do-able. Also, you took this with the 50mm 1.8? I would have opened the aperture up so you get a DoF, prob f3.5 at least.
