My biggest regret is not b/c i joined the military. I appreciate the character it has shaped me into and wouldn't want it any other way. I do think everyone can benefit with a few years of military service, it will straighten what society has screw up for the last 18 years (LOL i sounded like my DI)

anyway, my biggest regret is joining the reserve. The worst decision i've ever made. If i knew better, i would of join active duty and be done with it.

Now In the reserve, i'm too comfortable being a civilian 28 days a month
to go active duty and I just hate going to drill doing stupid shit & trying to catch up 28 days out of the month in 3 days.

    /end rant.

anyone who's thinking of joining the service, do yourself a favor and not join the reserve.

The reserves arnt bad.....I just like the thought that I would be 4 1/2 years from being able to collect retirement right now....and my wife would be already collecting :hs:

If I had just used my time wisely after joining my reserve unit and picked a better MOS, I think I would be fine with being a Reservist. I know damn well I wouldn't want to go Active Duty with the current MOS I have.

agreed. marine reserves wasn't a good choice. i loved it when i was active.

navy reserve or air force reserve aren't that bad.
