So after 5 months my battery can only retain 63% of its original full charge... :wtc:

So i went to the battery replacement site, and this is what came up...

I don't understand how my computer is eligable but my battery isnt? does this mean i can or cannot get my battery replaced.

if i can't , im going to be pissed. i think im going to call customer service tomorrow.

has anyone else had this result?

I got this same result for my powerbook G4. I believe it's because you have the model number of the battery they recalled, but only certain serials of that model number were recalled.

P.S. If you call customer service and get yours replaced, let me know I'd definitely take a replacement if i can get one. Mine's not as bad, but still would take a fresh one...

also, does it save battery life if you don't fully charge your battery every single time? like if you charge alittle first, and charge alittle again when it runs low?

    try to recalibrate your battery.

    you do that by

fulling charging your battery and then running off the battery till it dies, or gets to 0% charge

let it sit like that for a couple of hours (5+)
then recharge the battery and it should be fine again

it says to do that on my macbook eery couple of months

Charger connected = extra charge in the system.

Oh, and he is an Apple fanboy now, so that could explain his faggotry.
