it all started as a hand-me-down from my grandpaw looking like this after only a 3/4 drop and smaller tires. don't mind the "lo ryda" part, my jackass cousin did that when she scanned it for me.

this is after 2 years of owning it.

i have about $17 into it. i've paid for everything, except the things that my grandpaw told me he was gonna pay for before he gave it to me. he paid for the engine rebuild, tranny rebuild, and $1500 of the $4200 paintjob.

next i want to put a mildly built small block chevy 350 in it and build a completely new rear subframe from the cab back so that i can put a narrowed ford 9" and some slicks on it. then i wanna get some large billet rims on it.

I like it except for the two tone paint job, just not really my style there.

That is one seriously nice looking truck. I don't generally care for low riders but that looks sweet. Did I read that right, you've only got $17 in it?

no, it was getting painted then, so i missed heatwave. i went to showfest in greenville, but i didn't bring my truck, since it was in the transmission shop. i was on the slammed raptor at showfest, if you went.

Not my "bag" :)rofl: ), but nice work.

I'd save the money off of the V8 and use it to get rims.. a Chevy V8 would be a waste in that thing.

rims come after the engine. it won't be a waste. i'll be getting traction when i need it, just not with the daily tires on it......

    Traction will be hell!
But I have saw it work. Not with bags, but you could be the 1st.

    maybe.

Just so I properly understand.. You're getting rims for traction, or a V8 for traction?

Not bad, my neighbor has a show low rider. A truck and a mustang. I wish I could jack it and sell you the parts.
