In NSW, Australia learner riders are restricted to "learner legal bikes" Basicly 150cc 2-stroke max, or 250cc 4-stroke.

Anyway i choose the RS125 becasue its light, corners oh so well, and who doesnt love the 2 smokers?:)

I have some crappy pics, and a crappy vid. But promise to get better pics after xmas, and some trackday pics/vids in febuary. (first trackday:x: )

Vid of me warming it up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5FT0G99xyI

PS. Bike is stock standard expect for the removal of the sound baffling in the silencer.

you can get a 50cc in the us. Been looking for one local to me for my little brother. I have ridden one and they are fun. But you have to shift at 11K:hsugh:

Ive been riding for 12 months. Yeah its a real shame that you guys in the US didnt get this bike. 50cc would have nothing on the 125. (Forgot to mention that this is the fully de restricted model).

Did the US get delivered the Cagiva Mito? They are another top, smaller smoker.

To be honest, its only very slightly smaller than the 2006 R6 i rode the other day. Not much of a difference at all.

Sure its never going to be anywhere as near as fast on a stright, but corner speed

you saying thats too low or too high? I shift at about 12k on my bike already
I don't think so. I know CA hasn't had any >50cc street legal 2 smokes in ages.

2 stroke baby. I used to ride a Cagiva Mito in Italy. 125cc with 7 gears!!

Really high pitch, but so light it was a fast little fucker in traffic

Its a shame you dont see too many 2 stroke bikes nowdays.

    IMHO for most tracks, 2stroke 250cc > *

if modern 250cc 2 strokes were available here (not grey market, ie fucking expensive and somewhat risky) I would likely have one

Lighter, more manageable bikes on the track > *.

I love riding a slow bike fast, instead of riding a fast bike slow.

I used to had a Cagiva Mito Evo or whatever it was called. The thing that looked like a 916 Ducati. I really loved it but yeah I flipped it and the frame broke.

Awsome bikes. I had alot of trouble choosing between my RS and the Mito. Pretty hard to go wrong with either.

Went for a ride on the Royal National Park in sydney. I have 2 Shitty camera phone pics of where we stopped, pretty cool stuff:cool:

i would love to have the opportunity to get 125's and 250's like that in the states.

remember seeing these little beauties at the place we rented our bikes when we toured the alps.
