Sitting next to an Iraqi AK magazine, and the AK magazine box it came in. There is a slight difference in the two.

Initial impressions: Solid. Both grips appear to be nearly solid alloy. Positive clip, super strong blade throw. Grip serrations are very nice. Handle is a bit slick, though.

There was a place that was selling them for 30 shipped, but I think they had the wrong picture up, it didn't say anything about automatic.. so I went to this place.

Edit: it was 38 shipped and got here in two days. Ordered monday midnight, arrived thursday afternoon.

Side to side movement, you mean? None.. it's heavy to me, but I've been carrying a Benchmade Pardue 530 for the past six months, which weighs less than 4 quarters... so I'm assuming it isn't as heavy as it seems.

how do you go about the legalities of owning a switch blade or since you have a ccw, does it not apply?

i made an auto one time, and about once a month i'd have to retighten it... so i was wondering if a manfactured one acted the same.

i like my knives to have some weight to them, i hate going to a shop that only has featherlights.

NC CHP covers handguns only, and this is an automatic knife, not a switchblade. Definitions are a wonderful thing.. they're the reason we have vertical foregrips, instead of the previously banned evil forward pistol grips :noes:

Automatic knives depend on local and state government regulations, but they are rarely enforced. My advice is go to the website and check shipping restrictions. If you're not on it, you're good to go.

You should be OK, I don't think the regular folders has a lock on top, so I think you got the right one. I just wanted to make sure, and I'd actually heard of bladehq before.. so I went there.

I hope so, someone called me this morning telling me that my knife was shipping out and if I had any questions or anything so they seem like a decent business. Hopefully it's the right one.

Other than that, pretty nice knife for under $40 it looks like :coold:
