Thanks for the compliments guys...this things taken up a shitload of time over the winter and its nice to finally see the payoff :coold:

Of course not.....I had to run the wiring and install the ballasts too. But anyways, Im able to see much better and i angled the headlights slightly lower so they're not obnoxious to other drivers.

I can almost guarantee you that you didn't angle them low enough not to piss off other drivers. Seriously, if you want HIDs, get a good projector setup. Not only will people not hate you, but you will get FAR better lighting than your current setup.

Oh, and what are your whp/wtq numbers?

nb's dont have one stock...and the stock crank/cam sensors are kinda problematic with the ms.

Yea...im only using it for the signal pickup so with the cap/rotor off its only slight bigger than a cas.

Ah, that makes sense. Work better than the CAS or pretty much the same? Also, does that mean I don't need to go to a CAS when I go to a COP setup on my EGT?

Almost the same thing. I just used it because i have two kickin around and people seem to think used miata cas's are worth gold.

For the egt you're using a haltech right? As long as it'll do the dual ignition input you can use either. The only difference between them is the egt dist's cam signal triggers once per cycle and the miata cas triggers twice.

Yeah, I'm running an E6K. I looked over the link you posted on CP (or was it NETC?) when you first did the swap and it seemed like the Haltech could handle it, I'll need to charge my laptop and monkey around with it a bit to double check. I found a local j/y that has those coils for $15 a piece and it seems like it'd be worth doing, especially now that I know I don't need to hunt down a CAS.
