thought i would post some pix up of my project car, to give the basics it's an 89 hatch swapped the ka for an sr had that in for about 8 months and decided to do a complete build on the motor and fix all the issues with it.

the day i got the car

then i got a new bumper

upgraded the rims then ended up selling them and getting work eurolines

relocated battery probably going to go with a fuel cell since it is a track only car now

    the new rims

rims were originally silver this is how the car is sitting in my garage all striped so i can do a ton of work to it, working on the bushings right now already finished all the body work looking at getting a new body kit. then i still have to buy a ton for the motor since it's already pulled and taken apart.

i also painted the engine bay

this is my project car and hopefully i will have it painted and up and running by early to mid summer. alot of work ahead of me i would list what im going to do but i can add that stuff later as i build it.

when i first got the motor put in

Looks like a fun project indeed. Be sure and document as much as you can and take a ton of pics throughout the process. You'll be glad you did later... What do you expect it to run at the track?

i plan to drift the car mostely when we took it to the strip we ran a 13 flat with a turbo that was literally falling apart and was not installed correctely due to a speed shop that did work on the car, when it is all said and done i would guess it would run around 11.5 to 12 mabye fast i dont know for sure. as soon as it's done and i goto the track i will get pics of the time slips

you could get a better engine, ever heard of a LS1 , its an easy swap too. you will get almost double the power of a little sr20det.
