I just figured out how to post pictures so I thought I'd show the muscle car fans a few photos of my pride and joy. I know the front bumper is missing, I need new carriage bolts.

Yes it's an X-66 code car which means it is an original 396 car without the deluxe interior package. The motor in there is still a 396 although the original block cracked so the #'s don't match on the block but alot of other things do. The HP rating is 350, it's the L34 motor it came stock with a pretty nice cam. It's got a nice lump but nothing too crazy. I've changed a few minor things so the HP rating might be a little higher. You know the common stuff headers, Edelbrock manifold and 800 cfm carb, switched over to a HEI ignition. It has a 4sp Muncie trans with a 3.31 posi. I'm glad it isn't any taller since it screams on the highway. You have to shout to talk to the passengers. I've been working on it for over 2 years now and did almost everything except the paint and the rear suspension.

Gorgeous car. I've always liked the orange/white and white/orange color combos.

They're Chevy Rallye rims, those exact rims actually came off a Corvette 15
"x8". Most chevys had them in the late 60's. There are 396 rims that were an option for my car but I don't like them as much. Also I didn't put the front center caps on in that picture. This is actually what they look like with the center caps.

here's the big block rim option

Thanks / yeah that's what I wanted as well but after a few years of looking I settled for the 350hp. The prices are getting insane on these cars even if they're beat up or need work. If you look enough you'll find one but you'll most certainly have to travel around to find it.

I agree those are my favorite colors for the 69 camaro. I wasn't sure about the white top at first but now I love it, I think it makes the car stand out even more.

The white top and interior kills it for me. How the hell do you keep it clean?

The top isn't too bad but the interior is a pain in the ass. If it were cloth I'd be screwed, the vinyl is pretty easy to clean up but your always cleaning it.

It's funny you mentioned that. I've spent almost every weekend and some weeknights for the past 2 years working on this car. After I worked on stuff like the motor from the block up and the entire front suspension down to the frame rails I sort of forgot about stuff like the bumper. I guess since the day I got it running I've been so anxious to take it out I didn't even think about the bumper.

That Z28 is sweet. Those things rev incredibly high and sound sweet when they get up there.
