My 6 month Progress pics.

    First, I'd like to start off by saying that this forum has been a great help. I havent been able to find a forum on the internet anywhere that is half as good as F&N here.

    When I started to lift 6 months ago, I had no idea I would enjoy it as much as I do today. I had never lifted weights in my life before. My good friend asked me to signup with him and workout with him Monday - Friday. I've signed up for gym memberships before and never actually followed through with anything. Somehow this time was different.

    When I began 6 months ago, I was 5'7" and 206lbs. Currently I'm just over 170lbs. My bodyfat when I started was around 24%. Currently I am hovering around 15.5%. I am addicted now. The first pic I took should give a good idea of how fat I was.

    This was a very discouraging time for me....as you can see it doesnt appear like I was making very much progress........about 3.5 months in......

    It may be because I'm too self conscious, but can you really see a big difference?

    Thanks man. I'm working on the second half of my 1 year transformation. The first 6 months were to shred fat and gain some strength. The second 6 months are to cut up and build some muscle mass......I'll post more pics as the time goes by..... I hope to get to about 165 @ 10% body fat........

    you probably have gyno, but lose more fat to make sure.

    Yeah you can definitely notice a difference, it takes time though. If you feel like you can't notice a difference for a certain period of time, focus on goals such as increases in weight if you are doing lifting or increases in intensity or distance for cardio.
