200mm, 1/250" @ 2.8 1600iso, no flash, no post processing
pfft, no complaining for you, at least yours is faster than mine. Azn skills
My pics from the same game:
Your last image is the r0x0rs. You got a pic of Lori!
Who the hell's lori? lol
I'll take a guess....the chick with the giant L
The girl in the bright yellow jacket. During the first quarter of the game, her and I were standing next to each other shooting. And then about 10mins later after several "I think I effing know you looks" that her and I kept giving each other, I asked her if she was who I thought she was, and I was right. We go to the same gym, just never talked to her there before, nor did I know she is into having $20k around her neck!
does she do that for a living?
I shoot hand held, the monopod I was trying was a POS and bothered me immensely. Hua shot hand held too
I really don't find a monopod necessary for the lenses we were using. For a big prime I can understand, but it really limits the movability.
framerate matters a lot less than your instinctual shooting/reaction timing and shutter speeds.
try going for 1/500 even if you have to underexpose by a stop and work on studying the motion of the action so you can get it on your first shot
you can handhold a 400mm f/2.8
holy black baby jeebus!
What is that monster on that chick's shoulder!?!!?
300mm f/2.8 L
no way that thing looks huuuuuge!
It has a hood on.
that's all lens hood
Oh yeah Hua, consider using "High Color Rendering Fluorescent @ ~3700 Kelvin" for your white balance
specifically that one.
Generally very accurate for cyling AC stadium/field lights
Thanks hashy. I will give that a shot for this week's game. I know the tone is a bit redish. I attempted to fine tune the WB a little, but the smal screen on the camera isn't the greatest way.
wow, this is a lot of money for a high school.
Lens hood at night?? I never knew the moon was able to make lens flair also
