It has power, and the tray will open and close...I can hear the drive spinning the disc when I put in a DVD, but the 360 doesn't recognize it. Also, the green light no longer comes on when I power on the 360...tried swapping the USB connection, no luck.

Ugh, I don't know if I want to sell my HD-DVDs, or just buy another drive.

    Anyone else dealt with this?

:( I'm so scared of that happening to me. the HD DVD add-on was probably the best console accessory I've ever owned. second drive for movies is fantastic

Werd, I loved mine but I was so glad I was able to sell the add on plus my whole beefy 11 movies for $250 the day Warner signed with BR. :wavey:
