I realize it's over a month after the meet, but better late than never, right? :naughty:

BTW, I'm almost down to my goal weight of 165 for my 3rd PL meet, March 7th. It will be an SSA meet, like the last one I did.

saw the vids when they first showed up on youtube. As much fun as it is to bash your old videos your lifts look really good.

    Congrats on competing.

Gonna break out the squat suit and do a geared meet any time soon?

I'm competing raw again in March. I have no idea what I'm doing after that, but chances are it will be raw for a while. I can see myself competing equipped, just not sure exactly when.

Awesome job getting out there and competing

nice pull! is that your strong point? bench seems a bit low comparably

great meet though, when I get down to 185 maybe I'll gather the balls to do a raw meet

    Nice pull on the deads.

When the term "raw" is used, what does that allow in regards to equipment used? More for clothing.

think it depends on the fed.

belt and sleeves usually.. sometimes wraps I think?

What raw numbers do you recommend I put up in a meet in the 165 class before competing equipped? When did you decide to start competing equipped?

The deadlift is my best lift, but my squat is very close behind, relative to my pull. My bench still needs work, but I should be doing 250, more or less, in training soon, so we'll see.

true raw = wrist wraps, knee sleeves, and belt

However, some feds allow knee wraps in their raw division.

you're way too dramatic with the deadlift. Fucking walk up to it and lift.

Nice job bro. You 181 for the meet?

Thanks. No, I was in the 181 class, but weighed 176 with t-shirt and nylon pants, no shoes. Now I'm 168-169 in boxers.

    I've never done anything geared.

I remember setting a goal that I wouldn't do anything geared til I hit 500 on squat and pulled 600+ @ 165 :dunno:
