Dont browse this part of the forum much, but I just wanted to see what everyone thought of my car.

I know people will hate on the wheels, but they came on the car when I bought it and I haven't had the money to buy wheels that I want. I am thinking work emotions or rays 57c in gold.

    Mod List:

    Engine:
    Injen Cold Air
    Ingalls Torque Damper
    Energy Suspension Motor Mounts
    RS*R ExMag catback exhaust
    Comptech Short Shifter

    Exterior:
    15% Tint Sides
    5% Tint Rear
    18'' ACE Manta Silver Wheels
    OEM A-Spec Acura Lip Kit
    DIY Blackout Headlights
    DIY Redout Taillights

    Suspension:
    H&R Lowering Springs
    Ingalls Rear Camber Kit
    Comptech Rear Tie

    Future/Want:
As stated above, Work Emotions or Rays 57c Wheels
    DC Sports Race Header
    Hondata ECU
Way way ahead... Jackson Racing Supercharger!

    and the pics...

btw the other car is my friends 91 VW Corrado VR6

Very nice, you need better pics though. I'm considering buying a Type S very soon. Im excited? How much did you pay for the car, not including what you have put in it?

I'm surprised to note that I don't dislike the wheels that much. Makes me think that a set of Si wheels (current model) would look pretty good on your car. 18" is just too damn big though.

    More pics in color :)

    thanks for the comments guys

i bought the car over a year ago at 50k miles for 18k. yeah i paid way more than I should have and regret it.. but it was the only black one i could find for months.

it came with the rims, drop and tie bar. so a good start for me to start modding.

im actually contemplating whether or not to paint the rims black with a coat of clear. any thoughts on that? I've photoshopped them and they look good and certainly make the wheels less flashy which is what i ultimately want to go for.

as for Jbrown buying a type-s: it is a good investment because they are an eye catcher of a car and decently quick. parts are easy to find for them and i personally love the looks. the only thing i am dissapointed in is how fast it is. for the amount of money i spent i could have got a much faster car. but if you want a quick little car with a nice interior then its a good pick.

I'm not a fan of black wheels on black cars. Some people like it, I guess.

Seems like you could sell or trade them for smaller, better-looking ones.

got done repainting my rims today :noes:

they are gloss black now. i like the look a lot more than before. i dont have the money for new rims and i wanted to make the car less flashy so i figured painting the rims a dark color would do the trick.

ill take some pics when the weather is a little nicer
