My 1999 FBP Civic SiR *New Pics Aug 1/03*

EDIT: UPDATED PICS ON PAGE 2 !!

I'm bored so I figured I'd post some pics of my car :) More pics can be found here.

    Mods include:

    • Cold Air Intake
    • Neuspeed Sport Springs
    • KYB GR2 Shocks
    • Solo Shortshifter + ES Bushings
    • Tinted Tails / Custom Grills

No big future plans. A JRSC would be nice but I have other priorities to take care of first :)

So whats make it a civic SiR?

Does it have a SiR motor?
Does the intake make It an SiR?
    How about the Springs?

Im just asking and i know im sounding like a prick but Im tired of seeing cars with wrong badges trying to be something they are not. If you wanted to make your car something it isnt then why not buy what you wanted?

In Canada, there was an actual factory SiR. It was called the Si in the U.S.A.

Boots is from Nova Scotia (look at the plate). I'm not saying his car is a real SiR (looks like one though).

Is that the color of the stock tail light blinker cover?
Or is that VHT night shade? I like it...

    Canadian SiR = US Si
    Canadian Si = US EX

So, yes it does have an SiR motor (B16A2) and yes it did have an SiR intake and yes it did have SiR springs. They've both been replaced by aftermarket parts.

You come across with quite the attitude for someone who doesn't know what they're talking about. :asshole:

That is 35% window tint applied to the outside of the tails. It holds up extremely well (car is not winter driven). I'm looking into an alternative such as tint spray on the inside of the lens.

nice lookin car. good wheel choice. dont waste any cash on a header or any other crap thats not gonna get you shit for power. keep the motor mostly stock unless you go FI . It can be a fun motor if you do an all-motor build up too, but for that money you may as well get a blower or something, more fun for a daily driver anyway
