    Basic specs:

350 cubic inch Corvette engine, ~375 HP
    TH700R4 transmission with shift kit
Stock 3.70 rear end still holding up :x:
    Restored about ten years ago
Lowered 2" all around on drop spindles up front, blocks in the rear. I'm tucking so much rear wheel, the tires must be deflated to remove the wheels. :bigthumb:
Original style replacement interior with a few extras added by me :)

    It's about a "5-footer" :bigthumb:

Thanks, guys. I appreciate the responses. :)

She's getting there. I'm considering a conversion to a manual gearbox. Seeing as how this is the first automatic car I've owned, I miss swapping my own cogs, ya know?

Thanks! I appreciate it :) No problems so far. Don't tell anyone, but I'm hoping for it to fail so I have to do a manual transmission swap as a "forced upgrade." :x:

In the meantime, it's all working out really well together. Nice firm shifts, and all seems well. Time will tell. It's my daily driver and only car. I have, in fact, been called crazy for having just this car, but it's not let me down. Well, since the last time it let me down. :) It's worth it, though.

Well if your th700 is anything like the ones I've dealt with you should be looking forward to an upgrade before too long :mamoru::o

I don't visit this forum too often but when I saw the 55 Bel Air post, I couldn't resist. Absolutely beautiful car! I love the mild updates that keep the character of the car completely intact.

It's out of a 1976. The internals are mostly stock, and basic engine specs (without going through the build receipts) are:

    Carter 625 CFM carb
    Hooker headers
    Edelbrock Performer intake
    H.E.I. ignition
    Flowmaster exhaust
A bunch of other Edelbrock bits (valve covers, air cleaner)

I'm sure I've forgotten something, but it's pretty standard stuff.

Thanks! I'm trying to keep it looking like a mild rod from the '50s, so nothing too radical. I think I've managed to achieve that.
