Ok cocobeat. First off it's VTEC :)

I got the car in 10/17/00 with 30k, for $15,000.

The mods as of now are...

    The CAI was $200
    The Front strut bar $120
    The rear strut bar $30
The Nitrous basic kit was $500

And in the last year $700 in tires!!

LawnBoy, Thanks! I love the Green lude

The comment about being race cars in NOT true!
Honda's are more designed for the Road course, more so than any other major manf. The Honda's are not "great" on the drag strip but hold there own.
Last year i went to the Drag strip and Autocrossing with the Lude and i had TONS more fun at the Autocross!!! At the Strip you only run 15sec max. And are just driving in a straight line and never down shifting. And autocrossing i never got over 50mph and i drove SO much harder and shifted prolly 20 times. Per run. The guys there are all about racing and having a good time. If you get a Honda i reccomend that you check out Road racing style driving :big grin:

hehe, glad to know, one other question, see i am 15, my car right now is a 4 door, 4 cylinder automatic non vtech engine 1998 honda accord (moms old car), should i mess around with it, or get my lude?

Well you could swap in the prelude motor. And if you wanted you "could" keep the Auto tranny. Now the difference in the ludes between the manual and the Auto is over a full sec in the quater mile.
A lot of it depends on how handy you are with a wrench? If you not that good then i would go with the Lude. Besides it looks better ;) And will out handle the accord any day (stock for stock)
If you have $8k and the car!!! Sell the car and take that $$ and your $8k and put that towards the Lude!!! you will have almost NO payments!!! And lots of mods!!
How are you 15 and have a car?

PS. the correct spelling of Variable Valve Timing Electronic control is VTEC

Check the Pic with the Valve cover in it :)

XD i keep screwing it up, anyway, the accord was my moms old car, but she is buying an oddysey and will give the accord to me, i dont think she will let me sell it, also, i dont even have my license yet, so i have plenty of time to save up a bigger down payment, anyway though, the roads here in NC are horrible, on our nicest road the speed limit is 55...of course i was doing 70 in the drivers ed car LOL
